Business Development Associate

Bedford Row Capital is looking for a Business Development Associate to join the team in Tallinn, Estonia.

The BRC team brings together a wealth of experience in designing, structuring, and operating listed debt securities. Filling the gap that has been left by the banks in recent years we offer a unique and streamlined route to market. BRC is a market leader for commercial paper, Sukuk, and conventional debt instruments.

As a business development associate, you will be a part of an ambitious team that focuses on capital markets, promoting our fixed income products, and finding institutional investment deals. You will be part of our capital raising team and collaborate and work closely with marketing to achieve set targets. You will also contribute to various business development projects and initiatives.

• Actively support sales and help the team to achieve business goals by supporting various initiatives (e.g., prospecting, marketing campaigns, cross- and up sales)
• Be active on the phone, schedule & host meetings, and do follow-ups
• Run, develop and administer various initiatives, projects, and processes related to business development – in cooperation with Business Developer Manager or independently
• Develop client relationships and network
• Act as company representative in sales and marketing initiatives, conferences/seminars, implementation, and follow-up
• Develop and optimize sales performance, core processes, and key metrics to enable business growth across our markets in Europe, the US, and Asia

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years experience in business development, sales, project management, or 2 years experience in a relationship manager position in a financial institution
• Excellent communication & writing skills in English (our corporate language is English)
• Knowledge of capital markets, investing, and capital raising processes
• Business and SME client’s behavior understanding
• Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to a fast-changing environment
