This remote role belongs to Sales Team Poland & Baltics and has main focus on new business contracts negotiation and building long-term business relationships with leading players on the FMCG market in Latvia and Estonia.

 

 What you will do:

Major Key Accountabilities

  • Work with Senior Sales Manager/ Field Manager/ Head of Departments/ External stakeholders on identifying high value/initiatives that are critical to development of CHEP’s customer value, co-creating sales policy & implement the biggest market players based on Key indicators and targets, medium size accounts advisory
  • Monitoring of demand indicators and close cooperation with Supply Chain Team in the area of controlling the demand and preparing the forecast
  • Building cross-functional collaboration culture through workshops, new initiatives adoption and strategic costing management as well as through experience-based support, EU projects representation
  • Collaborate with the Field Team Manager and Insight Sales Manager to identify improvement programs and to achieve commercial department targets
  • Together with Senior Sales Manager ensure an effective and efficient sales process – establishing priorities, development programs and monitor performance and implement corrective actions if needed
  • Improve internal efficiencies by continuous improvement projects and best practices
  • Develop a Strategic Account plan for EKA & National Accounts
  • Creating & Implementing Retailer’s Strategy (TOP Retailer’s Development)
  • Opportunity identification & pipeline management in line with CHEP EU Policy
  • New Business Contracts negotiation
  • Profitability management in line with KPIs
  • Ensure excellent relationships at major retailers and emitters with Senior and Top Management and increase customer satisfaction and customer value added benefits
  • Drive the companies strategic projects at a Local/Regional level
  • Preparing best in class solutions for Premium Customers and Business Partners
  • Building long-term business relationships with leading players on the FMCG market
  • Substantive support for commercial departments in order to achieve the assumed KPIs
  • Representing CHEP at Conferences & Market Events

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • Min. 5 years working in a customer facing role in FMCG or Supply Chain environment within a European customer base
  • Proven track record of successful in delivering to challenging sales targets
  • Proven track of records in sales/complex account management, customer growth, strategic management and leadership role
  • Successful motivated and developed teams and team members
  • Understanding and management of complex internal and external processes
  • Worked with financial measures and KPIs
  • Project Management experience with proven track of successfully delivered projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive change and influence others
  • Strong problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • SAP, BW, Siebel, Salesforce knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Latvia or Estonian
