APOLLO GROUP chief accountant

Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and managing the work of Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Finnish accounting teams.
* Coaching and supervising the work of the accounting teams.
* Developing and implementing processes and accounting controls in four countries.
* Coordinating the processes and system integrations in four countries.
* Preparing the group consolidated financial statements.
* Coordinating monthly and annual financial closings.
* Preparing and providing information to external auditors.

Requirements:
* At least 5-year experience in international group company accounting.
* Excellent knowledge of Estonian financial reporting standards; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of tax regulations.
* Advanced Directo (or other accounting system) and Excel skills.
* Good team player and an encouraging, motivating leader.
* Proactive in improving deficiencies.
* Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Good time management and stress managing skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Readiness to deliver intra-group meetings and trainings.
* Very good command of written and spoken English and Estonian.
