Job Description

  • Financial analysis of corporate customers of the assigned distressed loan portfolio.

Tasks in specific:
  • Assess credit risk of the assigned corporate portfolio, including forecasting perspectives of business and financial condition of the customers.
  • Monitor activities of corporate customers and conformity of actual financial performance with the forecasts and seek to identify as early as possible potential deterioration of the customer’s future financial condition.
  • Collect and analyze information about developments in the markets which are likely to influence credit risk of the distressed corporate loan portfolio, share conclusions and practices with other employees of the department.
  • Support Case Managers in drafting proposals for the decision makers of the bank, mainly BFRR credit committees. Participate in the respective credit committees.
  • Within one’s own competence consult employees of the bank.

Analyst will work in the BFRR Estonian team. The job will be in Tallinn. Travel between different locations of Swedbank Group units might be necessary from time to time.

As Baltic Financial Restructuring and Recovery is a cross-border organisation, the official work language is English.


  • Higher education in economics, finance, mathematics, business administration or in any similar area.
  • Very good financial modeling and risk analysis skills.
  • Very good market awareness and industry analysis skills.
  • Very good analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Solution oriented attitude, openness to ideas and looking for the best practice both within and outside or the organization.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Result-oriented, high level of initiative, drive and persistence.
  • Very good computer skills.
  • English – very good both in writing and speech, additionally proficiency in terminology of the area.
