AML officer

Employer is the international business and development house with over 15 years trading. They are looking to expand and upscale their productivity and operations throughout Estonia and are now searching for candidates wishing to advance their career performing AML/compliance officer duties.

Job responsibilities:

• representation of Company in communication with the FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit);
• organization and management over the AML/KYC procedures in the Company; 
• monitoring and reporting to the FIU about suspicions of terrorist financing or money laundering;
• keep the Company and Company's policies up-to-date with applicable AML/compliance regulations;
• monitor the regulatory framework and warn of upcoming changes;
• assess Company business processes to identify possible compliance risks;
• reporting to the management board.

• certificate of AML/compliance course completion;
• proven experience of working on a similar position for at least 1 year;
• higher education in banking, law, finance, business management or related field will be a benefit;
• knowledge of AML regulatory framework;
• a sound understanding of FinTech, cryptocurrency business will be an advantage;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Estonian, Italian will be a benefit;
• citizenship or permanent residency in the Republic of Estonia;
• candidate must not hold the position of compliance officer or Head of unit in another provider of virtual currency service after employment;
• transparent background;
• attentive to details, systematic, respectful of deadlines.
