Job Description

Your primary responsibility is operation and maintenance of Aspiro TV's extensive video platform. You will work in an environment running carrier grade Cisco network equipment supporting 10 Gbit infrastructure, industry leading IPTV head-end, advanced storage and clustering solutions as well as wide range of servers running on Linux and Windows operating systems. Your role will be to cover 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support depending on experience and background. Additionally you will also be assisting with Change and Incident Management with responsibilities potentially extending to development, testing and variety of internal projects.

Requirements

We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proficient Linux User with system administrator experience
  
• Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and commonly used application protocols (i.e. HTTP and RTSP)
  
• Experience with Incident and Problem Management
  
• Relevant troubleshooting experience, able to deliver according to strict deadlines and SLAs
  
• Willingness to work hard and have fun at work
  
• Service orientation and a sharp customer focus
  
• Good verbal and written English (other language skills appreciated)
  

Aspiro TV utilizes Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Windows, Cisco Network Equipment and the ITIL framework and as such applicants with relevant certification are at an advantage.

People with IT service desk, system administrator, network engineering and software engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Two to four years of working experienced is appreciated but graduates are also welcome to apply.

You will be working in our Global Service Operations Center participating into a shift rota and on-call duties.
