Job Description
Accounting System Support provides IT technical insights and analysis to internal stakeholders regarding main IT Finance Applications in use in the Group. He/she will be a team member of the Financial Reporting Team, reporting directly to the FRT Lead with dotted line to the Global Head of Trade Support and the Group Chief Accountant.
Main responsibilities
- Maintain and develop, IT finance applications, including application servers, interfaces, and databases
- Troubleshoot IT technical issues upon occurrence and provide user support when needed
- Translate technical requirements into non-technical requirements and vice versa
- Document the developed IT processes & systems and provide trainings to user where needed
- Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
- Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations
- Design, implement, optimize and continuously improve ETL/ELT processes, data models, SAP Business Objects Universes and Tableau data sources
- Responsibility for developing data warehouse system ensuring data integrity and availability in the warehouse and data cubes.
- Continually seek for opportunities to automate, improve, or re-engineer existing reporting and IT systems.
Requirements
Requirements to candidates
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
- 3-5 years working experience in similar field in a large international company
- Advanced Excel, Tableau and SQL skills are required
- Knowledge of iScala, Crystal and Power BI is advantage
- Experiences in automation and process standardization
- Good understanding of IT developments and its methods
- Ability to manipulate large data sets with various dimensions and complexity
- Knowledge of IFRS is a advantage
- Attention to details, strong analytical skills and respect of deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Estonian and/or Russian.
- Team player, but able to work independently
- Problem solving and able to work under minimum supervision
