International Business Controller

Job Description

We are looking for someone who is gifted in reporting and controlling to help drive and support the business growth!
This role is critical to the financial health and strategic growth of Omniva’s international business. The Controller will ensure that all financial processes are aligned with the company’s goals, drive operational efficiency, and support international business initiatives
Our home market is in the Baltics, but we have ambitions as high as the biggest global e-commerce players. We already deliver happiness to Central Asia, Europe and the Middle East and we’re growing our international presence every day.

- prepare unit management reports, provide variance analysis ver FC and Budget. Recommend actionable improvements. Ensure the unit financial statements in reporting compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- manage and carry out month-end and year-end closing processes, monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital needs of international operations
- lead the annual budgeting process for Omniva’s international business, prepare rolling forecasts and perform financial modelling to support strategic decision-making, including market expansions, profitability analysis etc.
- ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards across all international jurisdictions
- assess the financial viability of new projects, partnerships, and geographic expansions
- collaborate with the international business team (matrix structure), lead and mentor financial analyst ensuring a high level of financial performance, control and compliance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance and international business unit.

Requirements

We will be happy if you have:
- minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a financial controller role within an international business environment
- proficient in financial software (e.g., Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, professional Certification: ACCA, or equivalent financial qualification as master degree
- knowledge of IFRS and international financial regulations, proficiency in financial software
- strong interpersonal skills.
