Security Specialist

We are looking for a SECURITY SPECIALIST to join our team in Tartu, Estonia.  In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the protection and integrity of our systems and data. What you will be doing

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security risks.
• Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Monitor network traffic and investigate any suspicious activities or security incidents.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and perform application security assessments.
• Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding security best practices and awareness.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and industry standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing incident response plans and procedures.
• Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees.
• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments.

We are looking for someone who has

• Previous work experience as a Security Specialist or similar role.
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
• Knowledge of network security protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience with secure coding practices, secure software development lifecycle, and application security assessments
• Ability to design and implement security measures to protect against data breaches and unauthorized access
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
• Strong documentation, time-management and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
