We are looking for someone who will be:
· Responsible for monthly closing and financial reporting of around 20 UK PLCs
· Maintaining a close relationship with UK-based auditors to assist with the preparation of annual audited accounts and tax computations
· Preparing audit workings and consolidating group accounts
· Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with the accepted policies and procedures
· Working closely with the development team to aid financial process automation for an internal fintech platform
· Working together with a small team of financial analysts
· Completing ad-hoc projects and other assignments by working in collaboration with the top executive level
You are likely to succeed if you…
· Have previously at least 5 years of experience in auditing or accounting
· Feel yourself at home in the accounting principles, annual reporting requirements etc.
· Have knowledge of operational accounting processes and financial reporting, management reporting and financial statements
· Are fluent in spoken and written English
· Are able to meet or exceed deadlines with strong attention to detail
· Have a strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
· Embrace the world of VUCA
· Are prepared to be flexible and adjust as circumstances require
· Have strong Excel skills
