SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER

As Software Engineering Manager you will:

• Own the engineering roadmap in your area in close collaboration with product owner(s) and architect(s).
• Keep your teams happy and motivated.
• Secure the development of your teams as a whole and individual member of the team.
• Take care of goalsetting & performance management in your teams.
• Have a wider impact than just your teams - take the lead in some initiatives that span across the whole Software Engineering unit.

You'll manage all that excellently if you have the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong leadership and people skills to inspire and motivate a team.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2 years in team management.
• Previous experience leading software development projects to their fruitful completion.
• Comfortable testing new ideas with critical engineers and embracing valuable input.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and practices.
