Grant Thornton Baltic recruitment team is hiring for our client Sigma Polymer Group, Kuressaare production site: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

The Financial Controller (FC) reports to the Group CFO andis responsible for all accounting and financial reporting (MediusFlow) as well as salary & payroll processing (Persona). The FC will handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, i.e. review coding of enteredinvoices, process bank payments, monitor collectionactivities, complete cash reconciliations.This position will require completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks and activities, which include account reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger.FC ensures timely reporting to all relevant authorities suchas tax compliance, statistical reporting, and other necessary filings. FC role involves participation in audits, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, developing, and monitoring production cost calculations aswell as providing analysis and local financial support to management team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another relevant field; fluent in Estonian and English; 5+ years ofworking experience in accounting, financial controlling, audit or similar; experience of working with ERP systems (preferably Infor M3/Movex); excellent MS Excel skills; solid understanding of accounting and financial statements as well as value drivers.

Suitable candidate is proactive and results-oriented, takes ownership, can work independently, has strongproblem-solving skills and demonstrates the” can-do” attitude. The candidate will be able to navigate and buildrelationships internally within the organization, as well as externally and has good inter-personal skills.
