QEHS Manager

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage quality, environmental, heath and safety (QEHS) activities and operations within area of responsibility
  • Communicate and implement QEHS strategy, objectives and key initiatives within area of responsibility
  • Contribute and promote "First class" QEHS culture, mindset and approach
  • Develop Risk Management actions and prevention (register, assessment, mitigation & control)
  • Incident management (e. g. claims, non-conformities, injuries), root cause analysis and lessons learned
  • Execute Customer Experience Management process (monitoring, analysis and reporting)
  • Ensure location QEHS regulatory compliance requirements
  • Conduct internal audits within area of responsibility
  • Participate and contribute to the local teams in relations with QEHS
  • Provide internal and external reports according to Wärtsilä norms and standards
  • Area of responsibilities includes Wärtsilä BLRT Estonia OÜ (Tallinn) and Branch office (Klaipeda) companies

Requirements

  • Good spoken and written English, Russian and Estonian language skills
  • Relevant education and/or equivalent work experience in QEHS area
  • Reporting, analysing and auditing skills
  • Good knowledge in computer applications (Microsoft office)
  • Willingness to travel to Klaipeda office once a month
