Job Description

    • Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations:
    • Develop accurate and precise product designs complying with recognized drafting standards, company practices, policies and procedures.
    • Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports, specification of materials.
    • Prepare electrical material requisitions and specifications.
    • To Follow/support the development of new and innovative technical principles, theories, concepts, techniques and processes
    • Preparation and checking of all types of Electrical and/or Instrument design deliverables such as Block Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, Layout Drawings, Termination Diagrams, Schedules, Material Take-Offs, etc
    • Present system electrical design support.
    • Preferable understanding of naval marine, engineering & design practices
    • Perform clash detection of models with other discipline models;
    • Review supplier drawings conforming with laid down specifications plus dimensional compatibility along with mating assemblies and components.
    • Perform with electrical engineers to develop electrical designs meeting needs and codes.
    • Project Management: delivery, cost, operational schedule, reporting.
    • Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects and fellow electrical engineers every day to design required coordinated designs.
    • Verify on-site condition and dimensions relating to existing facilities.
    • To prepare, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support system manufacture.
    • To analyze product design requirements and recommending solutions.
    • To extrapolate ideas into product requirements and applying the philosophy of concurrent design to manufacturing processes schedules and budgets.
    • To strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
    • Development and management of following documentation:
    • Preparation of feasibility studies.
    • Detailed fabrication, drawings.
    • Research and development projects.
    • Support the commercial department: writing of offers, presentation.

Requirements

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 3 years minimum experience in electrical and/or design environment.
  • Competent in use of relevant codes and software:
  • Engineering software: AutoCAD and other design software
  • Experience with project management.
  • Good communication skills. At least Level B2 in English.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team.
  • Good leadership, planning, organizing and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for results, improvement and innovation
