BETGENIUS

Founded in 2000, Betgenius is the leading provider of sophisticated data-driven software to regulated sportsbook operators around the globe. Our multi-award-winning technology is built to help our partners maximize their performance through engaging betting content and outsourced sportsbook management services. We’re the trusted partner to over 150 sportsbook brands including Sky Bet, bet365, William Hill and Flutter.

THE ROLE

We are hiring Software Engineer to our Trading Tools team to develop internal tooling for our operational teams to improve the internal processes of delivering real-time sports data to our customers. You will be part of the cross-functional team working in sprints with a flexible process. Our teams have DevOps and Quality Assistance engineers working together with both back-end and front-end developers to own the product from inception all the way to deploying and monitoring in production.

As Software Engineer you will be a part of a cross-functional team and your primary focus will be the development of back-end components using C# (.NET / .NET Core). Your work will involve the full software development cycle and you will have exposure to a broad set of technologies. This vacancy is a perfect match for a person who enjoys finding innovative solutions to technical challenges with opportunities to contribute broadly in a dynamic and collaborative team-based environment.

We take testing seriously, and it’s the developers who are responsible for producing not only unit and integration tests, but also acceptance tests, end-to-end tests, and smoke tests. We value RFC (request for comments) to drive change within instead of top-down management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect, design and develop new software products and components
• Write high quality, tested and maintainable code while using the best and latest technologies
• Maintain and constantly improve documentation
• Take ownership of and build highly available distributed systems
• Facilitate collaborative problem solving within the team

REQUIRED SKILLS

• You´re persistent on finding solutions and want to get things done
• You´re not afraid of speaking up and trying new approaches
• You value self-learning and want to learn from others
• You feel confident in C# (.NET)
• Your experience with AWS, RabbitMQ or Kubernetes is a bonus
