Rocketlab is seeking an individual who will undertake a significant role as a Quality Lead for international clients' projects (English as business language) with a broad knowledge and experience in Software Testing, Development and agiles software engineering.

Foundation skills: Broadbase knowledge of
- Agile software engineering (Scrum, SAFe, ...)
- Quality standards, ie. ISTQB, iSQI, ISO etc.

- Experience in client´s consultancy as SPOC (signle point of contact)
- Perfectly understand client´s needs and can translate into IT specifications (QA, test requirements)
- Can lead with a virtual team (team is spread around the globe), communication via video conferencing
Requirements
Must haves
- Strong agile delivery background and experience at both team and leadership levels
- Experience in leading and coaching a quality mindset across multiple Agile scrums teams
- Experience of digital/agile transformation within large organisations
- Able to evangelise ‘built-in quality’ and practically demonstrate how this can be applied on a day-to-day basis when working within an Agile team
- Able to advocate shift left testing techniques and drive their implementation
- Strong business stakeholder influencing and communications skills at all levels
- Experience of working with teams with varying levels of Agile maturity and the ability to identify the right improvements at the right time

- Able to sell the case and benefits of product teams owning quality
- Expert in agile testing techniques - BDD, TDD, mocking, stubs, testing in isolation
- Able to evangelise the QCoE quality narrative to the wider business stakeholders
- Expertise in applying the right tools, guidance and frameworks to help agile teams write better automated tests
- Experience of DevOps and CI/CD practises and the layers of testing required therein
- Able to identify opportunities to leverage cloud native approaches to improve quality e.g. virtualised test data, service virtualisation, containerisation
- Understanding to the Agile test pyramid and how to achieve an optimised balance in the different levels of testing
- Experience of API automation frameworks
- Experience of UI automation frameworks
- Exposure to unit test approaches
- Understanding of how effective with Scrum and test automation reporting can help to drive quality improvements
