PRODUCT DESIGN INTERN

We’re looking to hire a Product Design Intern to join our product design team in the Summer of 2020. You will get to do impactful real-life work as a contributor to our small but mighty product team, owning core developments of the product.

We are in a unique position to change the way people think about insurance and have a bunch of big projects in the pipeline along with ongoing revamps across our web and mobile experience. You will be working on the end-to-end design process, involving thinking with first principles and coming up with unique concepts and quick wireframes, to detailing and delivering pixel-perfect solutions.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

*Designing engaging experiences for Desktop, Web & Mobile

*Identifying the “right problem” and communicating design rationale

*Designing and prototyping multiple ideas quickly, sometimes with end-users, to validate product directions

*Partnering with PMs and engineers to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch ensuring the design is being implemented to a high standard

*Giving and soliciting feedback from the design team in order to continually raise our bar for quality

*Transforming design concepts to high-fidelity mockups for team reviews, demonstrating design systems thinking and ability to make rational design decisions


You are most likely to succeed when you:

*Are in the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Digital Media Design, and/or related field

*Have at least one project in your portfolio demonstrating your design process and intentions behind your decisions along with final high-fidelity mockups and interactions

*Have the ability to design across platforms (mobile, web, desktop, etc)

*Are able to clearly articulate your design decisions

*Are comfortable collaborating with people across multiple disciplines, taking ownership of your project

*Are very familiar and have experience using Sketch or Figma

*Are fluent in English

*Bonus points for motion design and experience in After Effects and Principle

About our Summer Internship:

*Qualified candidates will be asked to submit a short take-home exercise as part of our interview process

*Our internship is paid

*You will work onsite from our Tallinn office
