We urgently look for technical staff to work on board cruise ship Scarlet Lady, brand new ship of Virgin Voyages cruise company.

1st ship Scarlet Lady starts sailing in the beginning of 2020

Destinations: Miami, Havana, The Beach Club (Virgin’s private beach club), Puerto Plata, Costa Maya

ENGINE FOREMAN works well independently and attention to detail is one of their areas of strength. When our machinery equipment needs care or attention, you’ll be called to action to save the day. We’ll know we’ve found the right one if a smoothly working Diesel Generator brings a smile to your face.

Salary $2339

Minimum 3 years’ experience as Diesel Mechanic onboard a vessel
Experience on passenger vessels is REQUIRED
Experience in dry dock is preferred
Experience with Diesel Generators and Engines
Experience of working with W46 Wartsila Engines
All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position
Recognized Welding certificate desirable
Strong written and verbal skills

Contract length - 4 months on board/2 months off
