Application Support Specialist for Service Tools

Job Description

Main responsibilities/ Purpose of the position:
• High quality support for defined applications (Level 3)
• Troubleshooting/ analysis of reported issues
• Resolution of reported issue and tracking of raised support requests
• Monitor periodically use and quality of application
• Documentation of known problems and recommended containment actions
• Continuous maintenance and improvement of knowledge base
• Facilitation of web-based user trainings
• Compilation of “how-to” videos for specific application features and functionalities
• On-boarding support for new user organizations (service partner or local ABB)
• Participation in release testing (new features) and in integration tests
of bordering applications
• Collaboration with Level 2 (WIPRO) and Level 4 (Application Owner & Vendor) support
• Engagement in improvement projects

Requirements

Expectations:
• Higher education (or currently obtaining) in the field of IT or related work
experience
• Basic SQL and/or SAP knowledge
• Fluent in English
• Good analytical and methodological skills for resolving IT issues
• Open personality and good listener
• Ability to work independently and in a team
