About the job
IKEA Safety and Security department’s mission is to protect IKEA’s co-workers, customers and assets from preventable loss, injury or illness; they ensure a safe and secure environment for co-workers and customers through training, audits, inspections and follow up. They participate as required in the handling of any emergency cases and provide appropriate action. They contribute to incident reporting & logging, monthly analysis and feedback on trends, as well as investigation of root cause. They contribute with investigations of internal/external incidents as well as recommend resolutions and revision of any necessary procedures.

Your tasks will include
Ensuring the safety of the people and property within the unit.
Taking care of the security related issues in the unit.
Completing safety and compliance audits and trainings as required and maintaining accurate records.
Instructing all employees in labor and fire safety, maintaining accurate records.
Organizing practical building evacuation trainings for all employees.
Ensuring that the business runs in a compliant way, according to applicable IKEA Group Policies, Standards and in alignment with national and local applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring all local building regulations are met and the buildings are safe and secure.
Maintaining critical equipment.
Reporting incidents according to guidelines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you need to have
Valid certificate in labor and fire safety.
Experience working in safety and security in a retail or any other fast paced environment.
Experience with audits and equipment maintenance.
Good command of English and Russian (written and spoken).
