Job Description
The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Cost Management Process Analyst (m/f) in the Finance, Planning and Controlling Department to be based at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

Reporting to the Head of the Cost Accounting Section, the postholder is responsible for the definition, design and implementation of Cost Management Processes. In particular, the postholder should be able to quickly translate Cost Management Processes' requirements into sustainable, solid and value added functionalities in SAP modules such as Cost Management (CO), Fund Management (FM), Financial Accounting (FI), Timesheet Application (CATS). Besides the postholder will define and create financial reports, contribute to the monthly and year end-closure. Additionally, he/she will provide functional and technical expertise in other areas of SAP Public Sector Solution for example, and not limited to AA, PS, MM, SRM as well as BI tool.
Applicants for this post should have a Master's degree in an accounting, economics or financial discipline. A deep knowledge of cost management and SAP environment (possess certifications in SAP modules e.g. CO and FI and experience in SAP queries and SAP Reporting Tools) is mandatory. Effective inter-personal skills and ability to perform in evolving and demanding international environment are essential.
