The Role:
This role of Baltics Subsidiary Controller is responsible for delivering the key financial targets of the Baltics Subsidiary in a consistent and compliant manner. The person will partner extensively with the Subsidiary leadership team in driving the Business Performance. Fully leveraging the resources and insights provided by the Central Finance team of CEE Multi Country Europe to deliver business impact and drive growth in market share/business.

It leads the Finance operations in Baltics fully leveraging its insourced and outsourced functions. It owns partnering with Global Procurement Group, Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F), financial compensation analysts, One Finance (outsourced accounting), Operations Centres, Credit & Collections, IT, etc. It will complete the P&L sign off activities and ensure strong finance processes while being the guardian of compliance in the Subsidiary.

The Subsidiary controller is the lead for driving a culture of compliance and ensuring adherence to Microsoft’s Standard of business conduct. Driving awareness in the Subsidiary about Microsoft policies and create the urgency to always be compliant; inject compliance into the Subsidiary DNA starting from a strong tone from the leadership team. Achieve targeted scores on Quarterly compliance scorecard and lead rhythms like Compliance committee, Compliance Advisory board, etc. Establish a sustainable compliance culture measured through “Green” internal audit results and effective implementations of audit findings.

The Subsidiary controller, as a senior member of the Baltics leadership, will represent Microsoft in various external scenarios (customers, partners and finance community).

Requirements

Skills and qualifications:
• 10+ years’ experience in Finance with strong demonstration of leadership, business partnering capabilities and controls & compliance culture
• Experienced people management and people development skills
• Fluent in English
• Degree in Economics or Business
• MBA preferable
• Experience with multi-cultural and country specific circumstances.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization
• “Can do” and “thinking out of the box” attitude combined with hands on approach.
• Strong ethic, integrity and accountability attitude
• Past Demonstration on results achievement and drive change
• Strong MS Excel skills
