Job Description
The Application Manager is part of the Playtech Enterprise Application Team and responsible for managing all aspects of enterprise applications throughout their entire lifecycle, from their invention until their termination. As such she/he is responsible for collecting business needs, analyzing them and making sure that new applications are answering the collected requirements and fit into the overall application portfolio. Applications can be both internally developed and adapted shelf products. Further she/he is responsible to guard data quality, proper maintenance and end-user support, while ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
Responsibility areas:
- Responsible for understanding and managing customer demand related to a given set of applications
- Responsible for engaging with enterprise and application architects to ensure reliable and scalable operations
- Responsible for managing customer expectations as to delivery dates, resource requirements for meeting them and, as needed, associated change control activities
- Responsible for communicating status during the planning, design, development, testing and deployment processes. Included is communication of issues, risks and mitigation strategies
- Responsible for defining and implementing the appropriate support model for a given set of applications, working with the business and various levels of support within IT and with the vendor
- Responsible for the successful coordination of user acceptance and deployment testing as needed
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations

Requirements
- Project Management experience leading application implementations
- Experience managing multiple application threads/projects at one time
- Experience in applications design or programming or implementation
- Ability to review and analyze business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
