Jordan Oil Development Project Manager

Job Description

Your primary task will be managing our Jordan Oil Development Project to achieve the commercialization of the project. Among other tasks you shall be responsible for:
  • overall project management - defining the scope of the project, setting project goals and relating those to the company strategy, planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring
  • arranging technical and market researches, feasibility studies, financial economic analyses, etc. in order to prepare taking investment decisions
  • involving in-house and external experts (technical, economic, legal), including carrying through bidding and tender processes and holding negotiations in order to find them
  • fulfilling the tasks and obligations deriving from the Concession Agreement with the Jordan government
  • arranging reports to management board, shareholders, Jordan authorities and other project stakeholders
  • covering legal aspects of the project
  • managing project documentation
  • communicating the project status and progress internally and externally
  • Requirements

  • a degree in an engineering discipline e.g. environmental, chemical, mechanical, other applied science or economics
  • a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven track record of successful project management
  • an understanding of large, complex, capital intensive industrial projects
  • quick learner with an interest in energy sector
  • self-driven and able to work to deadlines and prioritize workload
  • team player who wants to work in a fast paced environment
  • flexible in taking on different roles as the project evolves
  • write and speak English fluently
