Job description
A key position for launching new products into our manufacturing facilities
ROLE INTRODUCTION:
STONERIDGE ELECTRONICS designs and develops technical solutions for our key customers. During the development process the operational (manufacturing) input is essential which ensures that our designed products will be assembled using latest manufacturing technology and corresponding to LEAN-principles and other associated tools. The function taking part in our development process and bringing our products to our manufacturing facilities, we call Industrialization.
As an INDUSTRIALIZATION PROJECT MANAGER, you will lead international cross functional teams with representatives from all other operational departments (production engineering, logistics, quality assurance etc). You will be the connection point towards our design departments and ensure the operational aspects are considered and implemented. You will also heavily engage in finding modern technical (and other) solutions that drive efficiency improvements and cost savings. You will engage with both our customers and our suppliers located worldwide. The position does demand travelling internationally.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS INDUSTRIALIZATION PROJECT MANAGER:
• Lead industrialization part in quotation work for new business
• Lead industrialization of new products in to production
• Work closely with Design and Development project managers
• Be part of the Industrialization team and run improvement/other projects
• Be part of our teams that look into future assembly technology solutions

Skill requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Higher technical education or demonstrated equivalent work experience
• Experience of project management including planning and follow-up of cross functional teams
• Experience of design and/or manufacturing processes for electronics
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and associated tools
SKILLS:
• Ability to lead project partners towards common goals
• Be able to work independently and take decisions
• Proven experience of managing larger projects with set time and budget frames
• Open attitude, eager and willing to learn and teach
• Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills in English
