Marine Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to maintain, trouble-shooting and repair MaK Marine Engines and engine components.

We’re looking for an Engineer with a mechanical background, a customer-focused Field Service Engineer.
The job holder will be involved in the installation, service and repair of Marine Engines and components.

The job holder will be expected to carry out minor parts repair to major Engine repairs, overhaul as well as trouble-shooting.

There will also be often servicing and repairs abroad, on board the vessels or foreign shipyards.

The job involves the engineer to think outside the box and to be able to tackle some of the tasks assigned to them head on.

All tasks must be carried out whilst ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

1. Marine-engineer or mechanical Engineer education
2. Experience on Engine repair
3. Good English speaking and writing
4. Willing to travel abroad
5. Driving license
6. sea-going experience would be advantageous.
