Data Analyst

Currently, STACC is seeking a capable and highly motivated Data Analyst. We are not putting down years of experience as a requirement as we believe it is not the years that count but the quality of what you have learned and developed that matters the most. The ideal candidate will have the following core skills.

Technical requirements:
• R and/or Python experience for data analysis and machine learning applications
• Algorithmic thinking and ability to implement algorithms in Python/R
• Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques
• Ability to handle a broad range of data related tasks from collection to analysis and visualization.

Soft requirements:
• Capacity to learn fast and sharpened critical thinking abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
• You will be working on multiple projects so you will need to be able to handle switching between projects with ease
• Experience communicating your work effectively to the rest of the team and business users.

Bonus:
• Experience working with distributed systems.
