We see your role as:
· Keeping our site - used by over 1.9M engineers - running 24/7
· Building scalable infrastructure
· Automating everything from deployment to scaling so the system can almost manage itself
· Improving the testability of our infrastructure and the code that controls it
· Helping to develop the roadmap for improving our site scalability and health
· Working with other Scrum teams and product owners to create new products and infrastructure
· Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team
We see your role as:

Requirements
We expect you to have:
· Prior experience in a technical leadership position
· 5+ years of experience in development and/or operations
· Ability to think abstractly and design large systems
· Linux experience
· Track record of designing, scaling, and monitoring a large multi-tier production environment
· Experience with tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt and Fabric
We’d love it if you also have experience:
· Experience with CAD applications
· A love of beer! We have frequent beer o'clock's and a fridge stocked with chilled brews
· Prior experience in a technical leadership position
