Job description
Position Description:
Teradata is a global leader in data warehouse field. The Global Consulting Centre (GCC) in Prague is providing its consultants to the largest and most sophisticated data warehouse (DWH) projects across EMEA region as for example in Austria, Italy, Sweden, Russia, UK, France, Czech Rep, etc.
We are looking for ETL consultants performing various tasks like implementing database design & ETL solutions, developing SQL stored procedures, providing SQL tuning and optimization, testing, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties of ETL consultant:
▪ Performing data warehouse ETL development tasks for large projects (ETL development, stored procedures development, SQL optimization);
▪ Support and monitor ETL jobs;
▪ Deliver business and application specific consulting services included in the integrated Teradata solutions;
▪ Supporting the pre-sale process as well as client communication;
▪ Building data warehouse (DWH) competency;

Skill requirements
Necessarry Requirements:
▪ Minimal 2 years of experience in DWH projects;
▪ Good understanding of ETL concepts and DWH architecture;
▪ SQL knowledge;
▪ Development experience with Datastage or Informatica ETL tools;
▪ Experience with database systems such as Teradata, Oracle or MSSQL in similar position (ETL development, stored procedures development, DDL scripts, DML scripts);
▪ Willingness to relocate to Prague (Czech Rep.) and travel abroad;
▪ Advanced English;
▪ EU Citizenship;
Advantages:
▪ Proven record of participation on large DWH projects;
▪ Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, BTEQ, FastExport);
▪ Proficient in UNIX, Shell or Linux;
▪ Knowledge of any other European language (eg. German, Italian, French or Russian);

▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills;
▪ Self-directed and keen on learning;
▪ Experienced in customer interaction;
▪ Strong problem solving skills and optimization technique;
▪ Interested in DWH field;
