System Integration Engineer

Job Description

YOUR MISSION

Design and Implementation of the factory network and infrastructure including the Building Integration System as applicable in compliance with the Overall company IT strategy and as required to fulfill the overall Company needs and targets

 

YOUR TASKS

- Set up the standard and specification for the building infrastructure: Access control, CCTV, fiber optic, Servers (if applicable), wifi, etc. considering the needs of both the facility and the process (PLC) including manufacturing and other company software (i.e. ERP);

- Enable effective coordination of System Integration engineering at the different stages of the project;

- Control and resolve eventual discrepancies in the overall BMS design

- Ensuring the Subsystem network connection is in line with company requirements and proper Software interface.

- Promote innovation and cost-effective engineering solutions relying on experience, lessons learned, and best practices;

- Coordination of the procurement and installation of relevant hardware components and network distribution;

- Support Project Manager and Supply Chain, to the relevant procurement and tenders

- Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations in close collaboration with IT department;

- Ensure proper coordination with all relevant stakeholders

- Seamless handover to manufacturing to enable an effective facility management

- Start up the system, assisting with debugging and correct test validation

- Collect, record, and report all relevant Project feedback, benchmarks, and lessons learned.

- Follow up on any other instructions from direct managers.

Requirements

University degree in Engineering or relevant discipline, alternatively secondary technical education and relevant proven experience on the role.

- Experience in integrated System design, having managed the design of complex industrial facilities, ideally in similar business areas.

- Hardware and Software configuration

- Debugging skills

- System Development

- Virtualization

- Worked in fast paced environment with strong change management skills.

- Fluent English speaking and writing skills

- Good communication and co-operation skills
