Job Description

  • Supervise the creation and maintenance of Finance related master data.
  • Supervise and process G/L transactions including accruals, corrections, and intercompany transactions.
  • Supervise and handle the closing of the books.
  • Ensure that GL balances reconcile.
  • Perform sanity checks of posted numbers and perform error corrections if necessary.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting processes.
  • Supervise operations, fleet and inventory accounting processes.
  • Supervise the bank reconciliation process.
  • Handle the short-term cash flow forecasting.
  • Perform monthly group reporting in accordance with IFRS.
  • Participate in the review and audit process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement regarding quality and productivity.
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls, policies and procedures.
  • Assist GL team in performing according to standards.

    • Requirements

  • Degree in Business administration, accountancy qualification or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience with general accounting in a major company.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluency in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian is beneficial.
  • Qualified in Finance & Accounting signifying in depth knowledge and an overall picture; able to perform independently with little guidance.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and particularly in MS Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Leadership skills and strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
